Quik Drop Arcade Game Chip Cost

The price of chips to play Quik Drop at Dave and Buster’s arcade is 6.8 chips. If it is Wednesday half-off day then it would be 3.4 chips to play. Obviously it is best to play on Wednesday at Dave and Buster’s but sometimes the jackpot will not be ready to payout(read on for explanation).

By using the Dave and Buster’s BOGO coupons and/or discounts the price per play is around $0.68 or $0.34 on Wednesday. It can be even cheaper per game chip if you use cashback rebates. Click here to read more on how to find these coupons and deals.

The Basics – How to Play Quik Drop

The goal of this arcade game is to drop as many red balls into the rotating buckets within the time limit.

There are 5 rotating buckets with a tube in front of the machine that drops the balls when you press the button.

Time the button presses to drop balls into the buckets. You will want to press the button either 4 times per bucket or 5 times per bucket depending on what difficulty setting the Quik Drop software is on.

You will get different ticket amounts depending on how many balls you drop in the containers.

 0-20 balls gives 10 tickets

21-30 balls gives 20 tickets

31-40 balls gives 30 tickets

41-45 balls gives 40 tickets

46-49 balls gives 50 tickets

50 balls with no missed balls gives the jackpot ticket amount

The smallest jackpot is 500 tickets. The game will reset to 500 tickets after every jackpot win. The jackpot raises ticket value by 5 each time someone does not hit the jackpot.

The jackpot can go to a maximum of 1000 tickets.

Ultimate Guide to Win the Quik Drop Jackpot

There are 3 settings that the Quik Drop arcade machine can be on. Knowing which setting the machine is one will help you determine how many balls to drop in each bucket as it passes.

Hard mode is usually when the jackpot shows anywhere from 500 – 650 tickets. Hard mode could end at 620 jackpot just depending on what it is set at in the software at the arcade location you are playing at.

Some machines at different locations do not have a hard mode. It will just be in medium settings. Most of the machines I have seen recently at Dave and Buster’s do have this hard difficulty setting.

The time limit is set at 22 seconds in hard mode. When the game is in this mode you will need to drop 5 balls into 6 buckets and 4 balls into 4 buckets. This can be really tough to beat even with a lot of practice.

It is not recommended to play in this mode unless you are extremely confident in your ball dropping skills.

The medium difficulty mode comes on when the jackpot shows around 650 – 790 tickets. Although medium can even start at 720 tickets showing. Once you know the Quik Drop settings at your location then those values for when it changes over to a different difficulty will most likely stay the same.

The timing of how to win the jackpot on medium mode is score 5 balls into 2 buckets and then 4 balls into the rest of the buckets.

This mode is a lot easier than hard and can be done quite consistently with practice on the timing of dropping the balls to get those 2 buckets with 5 balls.

The easy mode is anywhere from 790 – 1000 tickets. Make just 4 balls into each bucket without dropping a ball and you should win the jackpot. Even when the jackpot gets closer to 1000 you can get a couple buckets with only 3 balls. The time limit can go to a maximum of 30 seconds.

This is when you want to play Quik Drop to win the jackpot easily. It seems like an arcade hack because of how easy it is to win once you know these tips and tricks.

Finding a machine on easy mode can be challenging, though. You will need to wait until a certain number of people have not won the jackpot and then be the first one to play and win the jackpot on the machine when it is in easy mode range.

The best times to look for Quik Drop in easy mode is right after busy times for your arcade location. This usually means early in the morning on Thursday(because of half-off Wednesday at Dave and Buster’s) or after the weekend rush.

  1. I got all the modes 😉 I won a couple of 1000 ticket jackpots, then couple of like 600 (at that arcade it was 2 cups of 5 balls) and a 500 ticket jackpot, wich is 6 cups of 5 balls 😉
