An arcade advantage player is someone who goes to arcades with the purpose of winning the most tickets while spending the least amount of money.
There are ways to win jackpots on arcade games consistently. Winning jackpots on a lot of arcade games is based on luck but there are a handful of games that can be won with skill or knowledge of tips and tricks.
With these tickets they go for big ticket prizes to resell for more money than what they spent on chips or tokens. Or they could just go for a prize they want to keep so they spend less at the arcade then what they would pay regularly.

Is it Still Viable to Make a Side Income Playing Arcade Games?
A lot of people are saying that the times of making money at the arcade are in the past. There has been a lot of arcade advantage players who could easily make a decent profit. Now things have changed and getting the jackpots and prizes to make money are a lot more challenging.
There will never be an easy way to make money at the arcade. If there was then everyone would do it or the arcade will change things.
It will take a lot of practice, time, concentration, and effort to consistently make a side income at the arcade.
Even if you do turn a profit from the arcade, the money you make will not be enough to quit your day job. You also can’t play games 8 hours a day to increase your income. You have to strategically play when jackpots reset or on deal days.
It can be fun if you make it fun. A lot of days you will be off your game and lose money. You need to have the right mindset and know it is not a get rich quick scheme.
My Dave and Buster’s Advantage Play Journey
I started out losing money while going to the arcade because I was just going to have fun and did not know how to be an arcade advantage player.
I started googling tips for certain arcade games to win lots of tickets. That is how I found out about the arcade advantage play community.
After years of playing I could make some profit from the arcade. Though, it took a lot of work and practice.
I have recently switched my attitude to just trying to make as close to my money back as I can. I play some ticket games I have not played in a while to have a change of pace or to test different strategies to win tickets. I also play some non-ticket games just for fun.
My advice to you is to not take arcade advantage play too seriously. Have fun at the arcade. That is what they are meant for. If you can get that big ticket prize you’ve been wanting or if you make some money back then that’s awesome. You should love playing games at the arcade so enjoy your time hitting those targets or spinning the big wheel.
Rules of Arcade Advantage Play
I wanted the Arcade Advantage website to be a place where advantage play beginners can find some guides and information about the subject. The knowledge was meant to be a stepping off point and get people started.
I do not want to freely give a comprehensive guide to advantage play. It would not be good for the community to have tons of new people flocking to arcades to try and profit off of them. Especially if they have an easy step-by-step guide on how to do it.
Arcades need to make money. Not everyone can be an advantage player. If arcades start losing money from their games or prizes there has to be a change that will affect all players.
For example, if an arcade game is found to easily win jackpots and people abuse that machine then the arcade will be forced to change the settings on the arcade machine. They can easily do this by tweaking numbers to make the jackpot extremely difficult, raising the chip cost, or even replacing the machine altogether.
Do not abuse jackpots on arcade games. Switch up the games you play. Try not to continually win a jackpot on one game even if it is easy. Too many tickets given out on an arcade machine can be seen by the company. They will change the game and make it impossible for everyone to win the jackpot.
Do not abuse profitable ticket prizes. If there is a certain prize that is found to be more profitable than others then that prize will be hunted by all advantage players. The prize will be out of stock for the regular players to get.
Do not get the same type of prize every time. Switch it up to a different prize to allow others to enjoy the prizes. Dave and Buster’s can also change the ticket price of prizes if they know they are being abused for profit. They have already raised the price of video games from 12,000 to 15,000 tickets.
Do not undercut prices for prizes you sell. When you sell prizes try to keep the prices as close to retail as you can. Trying to sell something fast and discounting it by over 25% is not healthy for the market of whatever you are selling. Keep the discounts reasonable.
Do not abuse Dave and Buster’s coupons. The 10 for 10 coupons can be obtained pretty regularly. Respect your locations policy on using the coupons. Their rules are to only use one coupon per day and they don’t accept coupons on Half-off Wednesday.
Don’t abuse your knowledge. Help the community when you can and be respectful. Have a good attitude and have fun at the arcade!
